Tony Green

Antony (Tony) Green is Executive Chairman of the Green Group which owns Andreasens Green NSW & Qld, Alpine Nurseries, Oasis Horticulture, Ellison Horticultural and is in a JV that owns Thrive Plant Wholesalers. The Group has operations in various sites in NSW and has nurseries in Victoria and Queensland.

With qualifications in commerce and law, Tony brings over 40 years of business and governance experience spanning legal practice, hospitality, and horticulture. Since joining the family nursery business in 1995, he has overseen significant growth and diversification across the Green Group. A former lawyer and accountant, Tony offers strong financial, legal, and strategic acumen.

Passionate about supporting the next stage of GIA’s development, he aims to contribute his experience in large-scale operations, human resources, automation, and industry advocacy to strengthen representation for commercial growers.
