Members

Greenlife Industry Australia is a national association of state-based industry bodies. While GIA represents the industry at a national level, our member associations provide direct support and services to businesses within their states.

Together, we form a connected, collaborative network – delivering local benefits, national advocacy, and programs that grow the nursery industry from the ground up.

Member associations include:

Membership

Each GIA membership payment covers one financial year (1 July to 30 June). If you join GIA part way through a year, we’ll only charge you for the portion of the year you’re a member. We call this a pro rata amount.

When you renew your membership for the following year, your membership payment covers the whole 12-months.

➡️If you have any questions about membership, contact GIA Chief Operating Officer and Company Secretary Alina Sedmak at alina.sedmak@greenlifeindustry.org.au or on

Example

Small business, Pots & Plants, becomes a member on 1 April 2024

Because it will only enjoy three months of membership during the 2023/24 financial year, we’ll only charge three months of membership fees. That is:

  • $1,177 (yearly membership fee) / 12 months = $148.08 (monthly membership fee)
  • $148.08 (monthly membership fee) x 3 months (1 April – 30 June 2024) = $444.24 (three months’ membership)

So, Pots & Plants’ first membership payment will be $444.24.

When Pots & Plants renews its membership on 1 July 2024, we’ll send an invoice for the full year’s membership fee of $1,177, covering 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025.
